I’ve Got the Whole ‘Under Construction’ Thing Going On

July 22, 2014 by Kamado Jim 2 Comments

Construction

So. You’ve probably noticed that things are looking awfully sparse around here and well, you’d be correct. As a web designer and developer in a previous life, I assure you that no one else is as ready for a nicer look and feel around here as I am, but rest assured, it’s coming!

I’m currently working with a designer on a logo that will be used here at KamadoJim.com as well as across all the various social media outlets I’ll be utilizing (Kudos to you guys who’ve already started following me this early in the game!) Definitely appreciate that.

In addition, look for a complete design overhaul here at the site in very early August. While there will be some kinks to work out, the overall design will be much more visually appealing and will begin to bring the Kamado Jim brand together a little more cohesively.

That being the case, I just wanted to thank you guys for hanging in there with me as I get the site up to snuff. I promise you I’ll make it worth your while. Also, if you haven’t already, don’t forget to follow me on Twitter for “behind-the-scenes” updates.

    Hi Jim,

Interested in reading more of your 101 when you can update it. Sounds like a good reference in addition to whatever the manufacturers supply. (Am looking into a kamado, and your Egg vs Joe article caught my eye while in store peering at a k-Joe). Thanks!

Thanks for dropping by, Cinco, I appreciate it and am glad you found the Big Green Egg vs. Kamado Joe article helpful.

I know that article is a bit out of date as far as pricing and availability of the Kamado Joe is concerned. I’m going to to get with my sources toward the start of the new year and put a post together with more up to date information.

As for the Kamado 101 series, thanks for your patience! New articles are coming soon!
