10 of the Best Corn On The Cob Variations

January 16, 2017 by Kamado Mary 1 Comment

Corn on the cob is probably one of the first side dishes that crosses your mind when you’re thinking about barbecue. It goes great with just about anything you can throw on the grill; hot dogs, burgers, steak and everything in between. Plus it’s really easy to cook and the taste is extremely versatile!

Today, I’ve compiled 10 really easy corn on the cob variations and listed what you’ll need for them! Typically, you’ll want to first apply the olive oil or butter to your corn, and add the spices and sauces in the last few minutes of cooking it. If something is listed as a topping, wait to add that until your corn is finished cooking. Happy grilling!

1) Classic Barbecue

  • Olive oil
  • Barbecue sauce
  • Onion
  • Honey / Brown sugar

2) Chili Limecornfill2

  • Melted butter
  • Mayonnaise
  • Sour cream
  • Lime juice
  • Chili powder
  • Cayenne pepper (optional)

3) Garlic Parmesan

  • Olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan (topping)
  • Lemon juice
  • Grated garlic

4) Lemon Pepper

  • Lemon zest
  • Pepper
  • Melted butter

5) Cinnamon Sugarcornfill

  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
  • Melted butter

6) Honey Butter

  • Salt
  • Honey
  • Melted butter

7) Bacon

  • Bacon
  • Honey

Wrap your corn on the cob with slices of bacon, in a spiral, and then brush it with honey. You can either grill this or bake it, but make sure to flip it a few times so it cooks evenly.

8) Mexican

  • Mayonnaise
  • Chili powder
  • Lime juice (optional)
  • Parmesan cheese (topping)

9) Cilantro cornfill3

  • Chopped cilantro
  • Lime juice
  • Paprika
  • Salt and pepper

10) Jamaican

  • Mayonnaise
  • Curry powder
  • Cinnamon
  • Lime juice
  • Toasted coconut (topping)

Is your favorite corn on the cob variation missing from this list?! Share with me in the comments!
